COURSE DESCRIPTION
Crestech offers one of the best and most comprehensive programs for Accent improvement and Accent reduction and speech modification on the East Coast.
We offer regular classes that begin on the 1st and 15th of every month, and we offer various custom programs.
"V-BUILD-2-SUIT" PROGRAMS FOR INDIVIDUAL AND CORPORATIONS: Customized Training Programs. Our program is carefully customized to address your individual, corporate, or regional needs and goals based on the results of an in-depth diagnostic assessment so you get the most out of your training.
"1-ON-1- TRAINING PROGRAMS": Crestech's unique One-on-one training provides you with a comfortable learning environment and complete individual attention. Crestech's comprehensive Approach to Accent Improvement. We offer in-depth American accent improvement (accent reduction) training above and beyond the traditional ESL programs of yester-year.
Our comprehensive Accent Reduction and Speech Modification approach teaches you the "secrets" of native-sounding American English, addressing all the major elements of accent:

Materials: High-quality and customized accent training materials (both audio and text) are provided for intensive home practice, an important component of your accent improvement program.
Follow-Up Consultations: Crestech offers follow-up telephone consultations at various intervals and provides post-program opportunities for you to receive further professional guidance and continue your communication gains after your program is complete.(applicable to programs of 40+ hours; any long distance telephone charges not included)
Flexible Scheduling: For your convenience, both day and evening hours are available. Special arrangements can be made to accommodate clients with irregular schedules (e.g., business travel, examinations).
Corporate Training: We customize a communication improvement program to meet your company's needs whether it is private training for top-level management or group instruction for customer service representatives.

We have state-of-the-art computer labs fully equipped with audio/visual equipment. Crestech's World Class Accent Modification Center provides a wide range of communication skills, improvement activities and programs to help speakers from other countries with American English.

Student Profile:
This training program is designed for non-native speakers of American English who already have a reasonable command of the English language, who want to learn English as a Second Language and who want to speak like an American, and soften their foreign accent.
Content:
The training assists students to improve their accent by improving their pronunciation, understanding the importance of intonation, and improving their grammar. In the initial session a "English Needs Assessment" is performed utilizing a tape recording or an interview.
We work with all regions of the world and understand the needs of specific areas. A thorough analysis of voice, intonation, vowels, consonants, and speech patterns at both the word, phrase, sentence and paragraph level is included. Participants work with tapes, texts, videos, computer based programs, and customized assignments to integrate their newly acquired speaking skills into typical professional and personal social contexts. Ongoing assessments and progress reports are part of this training. It is ideal for a work site group
Advanced Foreign Accent Modification Training:
Student Profile:
This advanced training is designed for candidates who have already completed our basic Training and are ready for additional fine tuning and polishing their standard American English language skills.
Content:
The training helps individuals with business language and standard American English idioms. Pronunciation and grammar are covered at a more advanced level. Candidates and Participants join in unrehearsed and spontaneous conversations, and practice professional spoken presentations that are appropriate for a business setting. Individual and small group sessions are available.
Grammar/Writing Workshop
Student Profile:
This workshop is designed for individuals who have already completed the Basic Training (or its equivalent) and who want to focus attention on improving their writing skills. Crestech offers various options in this area. Please look at our Creative Writing Page
Native-born American Voice and Speech Improvement Training
Student Profile:
This training is designed for American-born speakers who are interested in improving diction and/or for those individuals who want to reduce a regional dialect/accent.
Content:
All training is done in our labs unless otherwise stated. One-on-one coaching to enhance the speaking voice, prevent strain on the vocal mechanism, and to correct minor pronunciation problems or irregularities. The goal is to achieve overall improvement in communication and delivery. As with the Basic Training during the initial session a "Needs Assessment" is performed. Length of training and course fees vary depending on participant's personal/professional needs.
LANGUAGE VACATION PACKAGES AND OFF-SITE, CRUISE-SHIP PROGRAMS AVAILABLE FOR CORPORATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS: Crestech can offer any of our program on an offsite, cruise-ship or vacation setting. Please call for a location that interests you.
